Flagship challenge

One loaded mile a day for 30 days.

The 30-Day Loaded Mile is the simplest Ruck Mode challenge: carry a safe load, log one mile, repeat tomorrow. It is built for people who need a mission, not another vague fitness promise.

Rules

Simple enough to start today. Structured enough to become a habit.

This is not a race and not a medical program. Choose a safe load, move at a sustainable pace, and let the repetition do the work.

Challenge rules

  • Complete one loaded mile each day for 30 days.
  • Use a backpack, ruck, weighted vest, or safe carried load.
  • Log the session in Ruck Mode when possible.
  • Missed a day? Log the miss, restart the streak, keep going.
  • Groups can run team leaderboards by completion, total miles, or consistency.
What Ruck Mode tracks

The mile gets a receipt.

Load

Pack weight matters. Ruck Mode makes the effort more specific than a generic walk.

Loaded pace

See the pace of the mile while accounting for the fact that you carried weight.

Readiness

Use readiness context to decide whether today is a hard push, easy mile, or recovery move.

Debrief

Finish with a plain-language Mission Debrief instead of guessing what improved.

Streak

Challenge operators can track who joined, who completed, and who needs a nudge.

Proof

Groups and sponsors get aggregate completion proof without turning the challenge into paperwork.

For organizers

Want this challenge branded for your group?
